Vision for India 2025

India, led by its
tremendous economic growth since the start of 21st century, has
become third largest economy of the world in Jan 2025 by moving marginally
above Germany in GDP size ($6.23trillion).

India is also the
world’s only major economy to be growing above 5.5%.
·
India is the second
largest recipient of FDI and the largest recipient of FIIs.
·
India holds the
largest gold reserves in the world by hedging 20% of its Foreign Exchange
Reserves as gold assets.

Due to rapid rise in
manufacturing capacity and industrial growth, India has become the second most
industrialized nation of the world.
·
India has
revolutionized the energy sector by its innovative technologies in solar power, hydrogen powered automobiles and harvesting of energy from biological
organisms (biotechnology). This has reduced India’s dependence on foreign gas
& oil from 85 % in 2012 to 50% in 2025.

India is the world leader in pharmaceuticals,
biotechnology, software services, healthcare & related products, recycling
industry, automobiles and low carbon products.

India produces 400
million tonnes of food grains & pulses. It consumes all its fruits and
vegetables by processing nearly everything. The life expectancy of Indians has
gone up to 76 years due to healthy diets, yoga, affordable healthcare
facilities and alternate systems of medicine (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, etc).

Following
the reforms of 2012-16, India has emerged as the largest producer and supplier
of skilled manpower to the world. The remunerative scholarship & research programs
of Indian government attract best brains from all over the world. India is the
hub of Research & Development due to friendly environment, skilled manpower
and huge market for absorbing innovations.

India also has the
most number of million plus cities. It has excelled in water harvesting, power
supply and transmission, urban farming and waste treatment to make Indian cities
less carbon intense and clean.
